After 25 years, Airgas is still burning bright!
Through internal growth and more than 350 acquisitions
in a quarter-century, Airgas has emerged as the nation’s largest distributor of
industrial, specialty and medical gases, related supplies, and safety products.
More importantly, Airgas has a unique culture in which our associates are given
a great deal of autonomy and responsibility, which in turn supports personal and

Over the past 25 years, annual sales have grown from more than $3 million to
more than $3 billion. While its first employees served a handful of customers in
Connecticut 25 years ago, today more than 11,000 associates work in more than 900
locations nationwide, providing gases, supplies, and safety products to more than
1 million customers.
